Tonio Fenech

Dr. Tonio Fenech is a Maltese lawyer and legal consultant with extensive experience in corporate governance, financial services and fiduciary structures. Admitted to the Maltese bar in 1987, he holds a Master of Laws from University College London and a doctorate from the University of Malta, where his thesis focused on commercial arbitration in Maltese law.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Fenech has been closely involved in the development of Malta’s international services sector. He played a key role in building the international and corporate practice of Fenech & Fenech Advocates, serving as managing partner from 1988 to 2007, and later founded Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal in 2009 and developed the ARQ Group, a multidisciplinary professional services group, where he served as founding chairman.
